Head Shots
January 5, 2012
I have been enjoying shooting quite a few head shots for people lately so I thought I would post a few. For our corporate head shots, we go for a more traditional business look, but these shots of Ariel, below, are going to be in his actors portfolio, so we were going for something completely different. The pretty young lady, Emily, below Ariel’s pics, is an architect, so we were going for a look a bit more formal than the actor but a little less formal than a corporate shot. I use both studio strobe and natural light in my work.

Family Fall Portrait Session – Amy & Chase and their two canine children
November 13, 2011
We really had a lot of fun with Amy, Chase and their two friendly dogs romping around outside on this beautiful fall day. Most of the leaves have already fallen but the scenery is still very nice, and we captured some special moments with some sweet light.
We got creative using a mix of sun rim light, sky, and off camera flash in a soft box to capture this family in a casual outdoor portrait photo session.
We are available for family portrait sessions outdoors, in our studio in the Lakelands in Gaithersburg, or the location of your choice.
Just call 301-873-4701 to schedule your appointment!

“Portraits of Brooke”
October 29, 2011
Since moving into our new location in the Lakelands in Gaithersburg last January, I have been working on setting my photography studio up. It’s a nice place to shoot on rainy days. The lovely and talented “Brooke” and I got creative and managed to come up with a few really nice images. More to come. Enjoy!
